German Exchange Trip

On the 26th of November, a small group of students from Years 8 to 10, boarded a flight to Frankfurt. We were going to Bensheim LFS school on the German Exchange trip! 

On the first day, we had an excellent time, doing some icebreakers, a quiz around the town, and even some lessons in German with our partners. Then I went home and had a wonderful evening with my exchange family.

The day after, we went on a coach journey to Stuttgart to visit the Porsche Museum, which had cool racing simulators, and the Weihnachtsmarkt (Christmas Market). The following day, we visited Heidelberg by train and saw the castle and their Weihnachtsmarkt. We ended the day by attending the LFS Christmas fete.

After a fantastic weekend with my exchange partner, we visited Frankfurt by train for a really interesting tour where we learnt that most of the old town is actually new, as it was all destroyed in WW2.

Then, sadly all too soon, we had to return to England.
